Global CDN Outage

  What happened?
  On 6/8/21 at 09:47 UTC our content delivery network service provider experienced a global outage impacting 85% of its network.

  What was the impact?
  All ART19 services were unavailable for most users between approximately 9:47 UTC and 10:36 UTC.

  How did we resolve the issue?
  Our vendor determined the root cause of the incident and took action to remedy.

  What steps are we taking to prevent future incidents?
  We are meeting with our vendor to learn more and will be meeting internally to plan for better ways to mitigate an incident of this nature in the future.
