Media Upload Issue

    The issue affecting uploads of new ads and content to the ART19 platform has been resolved.

    What happened?
    On 9/29/2020 at approximately 9:30 AM PDT (UTC-7) a large operation was initiated to process hundreds of episodes, taxing our transcoder resources.

    What was the impact?
    Some users were unable to upload new ads and content to the ART19 platform for a couple hours.

    End users were not impacted and were still able to access published episodes and feeds.

    How did we resolve the issue?
    We scaled up infrastructure to handle the processing load.

    What steps are we taking to prevent future incidents?
    We will be implementing better throttling controls for large bulk operations to prevent overloading our transcoding stack.
